Cade Memmott and Takara Petersen originally met on a dating app. They pretty much talked and texted every day for a month until finally being able to go on a first date together, which also included their first kiss!
Cade and Takara have so much in common, including attending concerts which they have during while dating. Six concerts so far, three of them being out of state. While flying home from Nashville, they had a layover which gave them the perfect opportunity to start planning their future lives together. When they got home, they got the ball rolling and booked our venue and picked the perfect date.
Cade flies back east quite often for work, so their proposal was a complete surprise for Takara. Cade’s family members asked Takara to go for a walk to a beautiful little hidden pond in Ogden and discovered Cade had flown home a day early and set up the most beautiful proposal. This beautiful couple will be married January 20, 2023 and they plan on two honeymoon spots. One will be at a cabin in Bear Lake and then a few weeks later, a trip to Mexico. And as Takara says, “It’s the best of both worlds!”
A unique detail will be the handwritten note from Takara, ironed on the back of Cade’s tie. We can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful wedding!
